Terms of use
Effective October 10, 2026
MAHU is the independent streaming service at messomahu.com and in the MAHU iOS app. Isaac Tomeho operates the service and is its sole curator. 49beaverunknownrecords is the label and owns all copyright, publishing, master recording, and sound recording rights in the music in the MAHU catalog. These terms govern your use of the service.
Listening and accounts
Public music is available to stream for free. You can listen without an account, or use an available sign-in provider to create an account and save music. MAHU currently offers no paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. Your mobile or internet provider may charge for data.
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age that applies where you live. If you are under the legal age of adulthood, a parent or guardian must review these terms and agree to your use. Some recordings contain explicit language or mature themes.
Use an account you are authorized to access and protect your sign-in credentials. Contact us if you suspect someone is using your account without permission. Apple and Google manage their own sign-in services under their respective terms.
Your listening permission
While you comply with these terms, you have a limited, nonexclusive permission to use MAHU and stream its music for your own personal, noncommercial listening. Streaming or saving a song to your library does not transfer ownership or grant a download, distribution, publishing, synchronization, public performance, or other commercial license. Original master files are reserved for the rights holder.
Unless we authorize it in writing or applicable law permits it, do not copy, rip, distribute, sell, sample, remix, broadcast, or publicly perform the music; use it in videos, advertising, or other productions; or use the catalog to train machine learning models. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, impersonate another person, or use automated tools to extract the catalog or overload our systems.
These terms do not limit fair use, fair dealing, or other rights and exceptions that applicable law does not allow us to restrict. Separately licensed software, fonts, and third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses. The copyright notice explains licensing and rights inquiries.
Availability and ending access
The catalog and features may change, and maintenance or network issues can interrupt playback. We do not promise that a particular recording will remain available. You may stop using MAHU at any time and delete your account from Account. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the service, or comply with law. Contact support if you believe a restriction is a mistake.
Your rights and our responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct. These terms do not require arbitration or waive any right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. If these terms change, we will publish the revised terms and effective date and provide any additional notice or request for agreement required by law. Changes apply prospectively.
